ASF and ACN transmission codes
ASF is 100mm flange, ACN is most likely 90 (unless they were changed out
by a previous owner.) You can swap 90 mm flanges to the ASF, but you'll
want to replace the driveshaft seals.
ASF has a 2 pole reverse light switch in the case, ACN has a reverse light
switch/shift light switch. Unless your scirocco didn't have an upshift
light, you'll have to modify your reverselight switch wiring (not a big
deal at all.)
Other than these two differences, ASF and ACN are pretty much the same
beast.
