Hold on, Julie..

You've got the right idea but you have to be a little more careful than
that. The large nut at the bottom of the fuel dist is adjusted to a
precise position. I think it's supposed to be 24 thousandths of an
inch from something. So before you remove it, make sure you have some way
of getting the nut back EXACTLY how it was before you took it off.. either
by marking its position somehow, counting threads and number of turns
including eighths of a turn, or by having the precision measuring
equipment needed to check the distance properly.

It's all in the bentley..

Also, its worth saying that you need to keep everything super clean. Don't
get even the tiniest speck of dirt inside the fuel distributor or you'll
be suffering from fuel issues for a long time.
