UK Euro Lights...Will they work?

How can you tell if you have euro or uk lights?  is there some way you can
tell by the appearance of the lenses?  I have a set of "euro" lights and
want to verify there were not from the uk.  I did by them from german ebay,
but you never know...

Beam patterns will be reversed, will shine high in centre of road
rather than to the sidewalk. You can mask the triangular prism in the
centre of the lens but it will look gash and seriously reduce light
output. You will probably fail annual inspection if they check headlight
alignment.

Get some LHD continental Europe lights for the US.

I posted an answer to somebody else saying the same thing on Monday.
