Front Upper Strut Brace on E-Bay + New Exhaust

Yeah, I'm gonna go for that strut brace. As far as I can see it'd cost
about =A390 new elsewhere so i'll see what the bidding goes like.

Got the new exhaust fitted on friday, went for twin Oval tailpipes and =
a
nice rumbly sound. I'll get some photos online and maybe an MP3 or vide=
o.
Ended up costing =A3398 because my downpipe was split and the guy welde=
d it
up. Seems to fit perfectly, sounds great. It has a lifetime warranty an=
d a
free check every year to make sure it's not developing any faults.

I suppose, i assumed it was Golf Mk1 or Scirocco, I didn't think of Mk1=

Scirocco's cos they are so rare in the UK.
I've never even seen a Mk1 over here. I've only ever seen photos. I mig=

I'm only running an 8v engine without factory central locking so it see=

the only obstruction i can see would be the inlet manifold

It's a moot point anyway, the brace on e-bay is for a mk-1. However a m=
k2
8v
bar won't fit with a 16v engine, BTDT.

intake runners, but there is a 16V version that is designed to cross th=

fit either, or at least it was hiding neatly under the Rabbit's hood on=

it "went missing". Dang kid.
