hot engine after-run circuit

The after-run circuits I have seen on 8V cars have a temperature sensor
mounted on a bracket in between the cylinder head cover and the intake
manifold. The sensor is open to air - not in the water jacket.

CIS cars use a 110C switch that's blue, digifant uses a 100C switch that's
yellow, and TurboDiesels use a 115C switch that's white. Corrados with
after-run use a 90C switch (blue again - thanks VW)

I've been looking at available temperature switches to control my low
speed fan on the rad (to draw more air through the I/C) and possibly to
control an IC misting system as well, in case you were wondering why I
have all these temps and colours handy... :)

Does this help answer your question at all? I haven't had a cup of
coffee yet, so I may have missed the mark... :)
