Turbo: Is this a crazy idea?

Stock probably won't suffice with 7-10 psi. My son ran the stock unit =
with 5psi on his MkI, but went with a Volvo unit in preparation for =
going up a couple more psi. And by the way, even 5psi makes a HUGE =
difference. Do it and you'll find out.

Well, I think any lower than 7 would be a waste of putting a kit =
together, as power increases would be nominal. But I don't think 7 lbs. =
of boost is much at all... This is the boost that most Honda =
turbo/supercharger kits usually run at, and they have weak little rods =
and 11.5:1 compressions.
What I'm concerned with is: can the stock fuel system keep up, or do I =
need to swap with Audi/Volvo/Saab components?
