1.8L head on 2.0L block



1.8 head is ported for higher flow than the 2.0 head is.
the trade-off is that the 2.0 heads narrower ports give it a bit more
low-end torque.
if you port/polish both heads, they would both end up being identical (but
you would have to remove more material from the 2.0 head).
as far as the combustion chanber, everything i have seen indicates that
there is no difference.
