Fuel Questions

When this happpened to me it was signal that the in-tank fuel pump was
dying. It gets progressively worse.

Ok i am driving on the highway and all of the sudden my car dies
momentarily, and then kind of bucks once or twice, i am wondering what
caused this to happen it has only happened once but kinda scary any info is
greatly appreciated
