Wierd oil problem

Well, did they change the oil pump to a new one when they rebuilt the engine? 
 Why was the engine rebuilt?  Maybe the pump is not pumping enough oil 
causing the light to come on causing damage over the years causing the engine to 
need to be rebuilt.  And they didn't change the pump and eventually you will have 
the same problem again.  Or it could just be a faulty control unit.  Good
