PROPORTIONING VALVES on 16v

Yeah, there's one ON the master and one in line further down on the other
rear brake line.  If there isn't one there then someone has probably
replaced the line because the tweaked it when replacing the master and had
to replace a piece of it and took the prop valve out (or something like
that).  There should be two and if you don't have two then one rear caliper
is getting more pressure than the other which could cause premature pad wear
on that caliper or even cause it to lock up at times (hard braking).  If you
are missing one, then I would install one as this could be a safety hazard
(braking hard in the rain on the freeway or something!!!).  HTH!
