[Re: coolant line question]



Hey Cathy,

There is actually a difference in the number of outlets on those 
pipes...  ETKA shows that the "P" was also used for the PL engine... so I 
think you just need to figure out which one you have.  I know that when we 
did my 2.0 swap, we had to re-use the one from my Scirocco because the one 
from the 9A Jetta had one too few outlets on it...

The "K" part number has an extra outlet on it... and the 2 part numbers 
have different mounting points.  Just for you Cathy, because we love you, I 
made a screenshot of the two in ETKA and put them together, highlighting 
the difference:

PS:  I have a vested interest in this procedure, mine's been leaking from 
the same goddamn pipe ever since i did the FIRST swap...  :)
