And while on the subject of parts dealers, my step father gave me his recent Rocky Mountain catalog.  He's selling his classic bug ($1000, looks and runs great, in Springfield, VA if anyone wants to look) and doesn't need it anymore.  I was looking through it and I started to feel sorry for him.  He said he's selling it because it's just becoming too expensive to keep up with everything.  Well I think I know why.  The backup switch that I got from Potter for $25 (and the CD, m&ms, and pen), they had for $55+.  They may as well be a stealership with those prices.  Also, I'm pretty disappointed in their overall availability for Scirocco parts.  Seems they're all about models still being made and gaga for the new beetle (IMHO, not one of my favs).
 
Ah well, it looks like Potter and Adirondack for my needs.
