Cruise control

Which reminds me, I still have a full vw/audi cruise setup sitting on my
bedroom floor ready to go in to my 16v..

The trouble is, I couldn't figure out a way to connect the vacuum servo to
the throttle body and/or accelerator cable.

Some nice guy on the vortex sent me a photo of how its done on the 16
valve Jettas and GTIs with the passenger side intakes (-thats- what the
little neck flange sticking out of the back side of the upper intake
manifold is for!), but this doesn't work on the Scirocco because the
throttle body swivels in the opposite direction. Not to mention that I
have an upper stress bar in the way..

Being that any solution I come up with that actuates the throttle body
directly is going to be hideous (like the one in this thread), I looked
briefly in to connecting the servo to the accelerator pedal instead.
Apparently this is what the later GTIs do (anyone have pictures of this
arrangement?)

I pulled off my under dash cover and poked my head in there.. the trouble
is there's not really any room for the servo. And even if there was, it
would be pulling at too great an angle to the accelerator pedal "arm".

Anyone know how the dealer-installed cruise works on the 16vs?
