[kinda OT] opinions on Mechanix gloves

I have been looking at them myself, I have always ended up with the $2 a
pair canvas backed, suede palmed gloves from the hardware store. 

I used to not worry about any at all but as I have gotten older I have
started using surgical gloves almost all the time now, unless I need the
rough n' tough handling like transaxles bench press or exhaust torque
wrestling, etc.
