Hahaha, what, you figure the rings won't be fully seated until then? =
Right.
Considering it only takes a weekend to rebuild an engine, it wouldn't be =
a problem to do it every eight to ten years anyway.

Yeah.=A0 I like to use WD-40 when installing pistons.
FWIW, I did pretty much everything "wrong" when I was assembling this
last engine.=A0 I was in too much of a hurry to get the car running.
Forgot to lube the bores, forgot to prelube bearings, etc...I can't
remember if I primed the oil pump.=A0 After 10k turbo miles the car =
hasn't
burned a drop of oil.=A0 Just goes to show that you don't need to be =
anal
when it comes to engine building...
