Hahahahahahaha! Sounds like someone didn't like the previous owner much. =
That, or I suppose he could have been a pet owner - only you can say whet=
her =
the urine has a human or canine bouquet :-)))))
Anyway, there's a product called Nature's Miracle, sold in good pet store=
s, =
which works just great for neutralizing pee of all genera and species. It=
=
comes in a big white bottle with red writing. You pour it on and leave it=
on =
for awhile. Then I'd recommend a professional steam cleaning if you reall=
y =
want to do a thorough cleaning/disinfecting job.
Sorry I can't be more helpful about how to disengage the carpet - but the=
re =
are plenty of trim/interior pros on this list who will be :)
Take care,
Courtney
Exactly what I was gonna say, but if you do go the steam cleaning route, =
I'd
wait till warmer weather, damp carpet can develop its own distinctive fun=
ky
odor, the faster it dries, the better. You may also find a good pet smell=
killer at the vet's, but it's likely cheaper at the pet store. And you sh=
ould
be able to rent a steam cleaner, if you do, may as well line up all the d=
ingy
items ya got and do 'em all. Maybe a group interior cleanout day for you =
and
your friends/ split the cost?
My hubby does steam cleaning as a side line,(plus I have a leaky old dog)=
and
he uses the stuff from the vet clinic.
