how do i kill my rev limiter on my 88 rocco 16v???

Well yes and no. If you directly ground the fpr you also affect a
couple other things that are on the same circuit. That's what I did and
I found that when I put the key in the ignition and turned the lights
on, the fuel pump would run without turning the key....and some other
funky electrical stuff.

Ideally I think you need to cut that wire from the knock brain and then
add a relay that provides switched ground to the fpr.

I never worked it out, but a combination of how the cis and cie-s
systems control the fpr is probably the way to go.

so couldn't one just ground the relay directly?
