Ah yes, I was in Sacramento before the whole ricer thing started and I still saw a ton of 'modded' cars. Forgive my east coast biased response.

You haven't seen the rice-cars in San Diego; Infinities, Mitsu's, Lexus', Toyotas, small Benz's, BMW's, Cavaliers, Neons, Escorts, Audi's, Passats, Jettas, you name it...they all have received the same treatment. A very high percentage of these things are no more than two years old as well....
Then there are all the new (2002-2003) Acuras and Hondas. By far the most popular basis for a ricer around here is a newer Acura.

Ricer toy? Nah not with that kind of price tag. Most all ricer cars =
are early-mid 90s civics and accords because they're so cheap.
I'd like one of them. Hell I'd take just about anything over the rocc =
rite now.
