Rain tray replacement?

Neal, I once saw a Scirocco with diamond-plate sheet metal used as the rain tray, it looked REALLY nice.  I'm gonna try doing it in the future, my raintray is shot too..  here's the link for its image, as found in the .org MK2 gallery: http://scirocco.dyndns.org/photos/53b/veryEuro2.jpg
