slow car-how to test cis-e/ignition?
Bentley has a procedure for testing fuel pump output. It is done with the
engine stopped and the fuel pump relay jumpered. You measure the flow from
the return line with it disconnected from the fuel distributor for a set
amount of time.
I agree with you that if the fuel delivery is inadequate the engine will
miss or cutout as opposed to just loose power.
