Sure-Form Body work ideas

The 'spot putty' is perfect for filling pinholes in Bondo.
Just make sure you get a flat Sure-Form blade and not the one with the =
radiused surface.

The advantage of using a Stanley Sure-Form replacement blade =
without mounting it on the tool is that your " grater " is flexible ( =
can follow body contours ) and takes flat cuts ( not curved gouges like =
a cheese grater ) that leaves a finish easily sanded. I always use some =
sort of body putty over the Bondo so the small imperfections that Bondo =
always has ( sometimes more sometimes less ) are filled and sanded =
before applying paint.=20

I was taught the cheese grater method too. As far as mixing goes, =
mix on a flat surface (much like a painter mixes colors on his hand-held =
tray-thingy (don't remember what it's called)). Try folding the bondo =
over onto itself as few times as possible as well...
I'm also interested to hear more about Decker's method...
