Sure-Form Body work ideas

Hi Jeff;
The advantage of using a Stanley Sure-Form replacement blade without =
mounting it on the tool is that your " grater " is flexible ( can follow =
body contours ) and takes flat cuts ( not curved gouges like a cheese =
grater ) that leaves a finish easily sanded. I always use some sort of =
body putty over the Bondo so the small imperfections that Bondo always =
has ( sometimes more sometimes less ) are filled and sanded before =
applying paint.=20

I was taught the cheese grater method too. As far as mixing goes, mix =
on a flat surface (much like a painter mixes colors on his hand-held =
tray-thingy (don't remember what it's called)). Try folding the bondo =
over onto itself as few times as possible as well...
I'm also interested to hear more about Decker's method...
