8v Distributor woes...
There is a pin that holds the gear on. Drive the pin out of both, swap
gears and use the JH distributor. If you are going to use a knock
sensor, I think you have to use something other than the vacuum advance
type. I have the distributor that you need sitting here, cause I got
another one to use with my knock sensor. *important* Put the adapter
ring on your JH distributor before you put the bigger gear on. The gear
is too big to fit through the hole in the ring.
