Lights out! dash lights, cig light, and oil light .. why?

It is probably either the wire that goes to the headlight switch that =
supplies power to the lights (grey and blue I think), the ground wire =
(brown, of course) or your switch. More than likely it's the switch =
since all that has to happen is that a teeny tiny wire breaks on the =
winding for the reostat and "lights out". If you find that you need a =
switch, I have one cheap from a 87 16v. HTH!!

Yes, I checked the fuse... These are the "lights" that turn on when =
you turn on the headlight switch. The clock and cig still work but the =
lights do not turn on.=20
