16V valves not resurfaceable???

We do quite a few 16V head rebuilds where I work. If a valve checks
out dimensionally, isn't bent, and has no scoring or cracks, we would
re-use them. Most often exhaust valves need replacing though,
depending on the mileage. It's all up to the customer, but most do buy
new exhaust valves, and get the intakes redone.

When I did my 8v head I just went ahead and bought all new valves, but
for you unfortunate <g> 16valvers that might prove a bit expensive...
