running a 16V off cis in 82 rabbit

Yep, he's right! Except that you sound like your putting in a 16v from =
an A2 so you'll need the 16v Scirocco intake and you should be good to =
go. You'll also need the injector lines from a 16v Scirocco or get =
creative with the ones you have or maybe find some longer fuel lines. =
You'll also need the 16v scirocco intake boot. As far as the Polo disty =
is concerned it depends on if you have access to any. If not then you =
should go with a knock sensor system. I believe there is a diagram at =
scirocco.org someplace that shows how to hook it up and what you need. =

A guy just told me that I could run a 1.8l 16V off my existing CIS =
injection in my 82 rabbit. Is this true? Doesn't the injection come =
from the wrong side and the air box also? I can get one for 500 CDN. =
It might be a good idea. He said that I would just have to use a polo =
distributor. Does any of this make sense to any of you guys
