I've got an extra fuel distributor to replace one that has a busted
adjustment "screw". It's a little rusty and dusty though - the fuel
line bolts were not in their respective holes so there is a light
surface rust on most of the "distributor" part of it. I was thinking
of removing the rubber boot, fuel filter, and frequency valve and
soaking it in some type of solvent for a few days. Good idea y/n? What
should I soak it in? Gasoline, or something that will loosen the rust?
Are there any non-metal parts in there?
Is there a safe way to flush it out?
Thanks!
Mark.
