rear lower stress bar? the mystery is partially solved

  found out tonight what that funky lower stress bar from my white '88 =
is. it is an old pulsar racing piece designed to reduce rear wheel tow =
in during hard cornering. i guess it was designed for auto-x. why it was =
on this car and why it was modified a little is still yet to be known.
