[dumb question]
Well, I went for a drive in the 16v tonight. Had a real nice fun ride with a
primer grey 8v golf. He could keep up till around 110, then he would fall
back. The car felt great. I had been getting alot of vibration at high
speeds. Turned out to be the CV shaft. I also "engineered" the broked flex
joint on the manifold. I clamped it tight on both sides with stainless steel
clamps. Whaaaaalaaaaa no more leak. For now.............
Anyway, Cathy was right. I have had ALOT of cars, and none of them had near
the uniqueness, or were as fun to drive as the VW. I think she will get a
permanant place in the garage. (the VW not Cathy....lol)

i'm sure it is, but i guess i am desperate to find excuses to keep
this car....
Oh, it's only money, time, frustration, physical discomfort, hassles with
your
girlfriend, cursing...just keep the darn thing!
(where else can you have this much fun!)
If you really need an excuse, go for a drive, that should do it!
