Keeping the shiny side up
About 4 years ago we had a guy come out to one of our (OVR) Solo events in
his girlfriends brand new Toyota pickup truck. The kind with the tall ride
height and big tires. He ran the thing all day and on the last run near the
finish the back end stepped out on him. Instead of being smart and letting
off of it he decided to try and show off and spin it. He booted the
throttle which caused the truck to hop up straight up in the air. It landed
sideways at speed and rolled over on it's roof. She hadn't even made her
first payment on it!
I've always wondered how their relationship turned out!
We don't let pickups run anymore.
We also had a guy flip a yugo once too. That was a good thing.
