As far as cost, I personally know of NO scrapyard that will let you =
dismantle a gearbox that they can sell for >$200 so you can have two =
gears for $15!

So unless a tranny gear froma an audi 4000 tranny 2P for some obscure =
reason cannot be used, looks like this is yet another source for a 5th =
tall gear
As for autotech sure if ytou have 200+ to spend, scrap yard will =
charge little less than 10-15$ for the gear. (of course you have to =
dismentle one..

The 4K 5th is .89. Available gears that will fit are .85; .80; .76; =
.75; .71.
The Autotech kits are not a huge rape if you want new parts. Gears =
from the dealer are around $200 and the special little screw that always =
needs to be replaced is $28. There site gives some info on installation.
Why don't you call them and ask the ratios available?
