4-2 Manifold and opinions

Dan,
There is definitely a longevity difference between the two. The =
guys at TT were the ones that started me looking for the diesel manifold =
over the gas after I told them I was having trouble sourcing one without =
cracks.

It's not so much the fact that it doesn't have the O2 port as the fact =
it's a diesel manifold.
Diesel exhaust is much cooler than gas exhaust. Much less abuse to the =
manifold.

Peter, you are sure right about that. I looked at quiet a few =
manifolds with the O2 port. Most showed signs of cracking. I finally =
found a 4-2 manifold from a 1981diesel rabbit. After it was sandblasted =
it looks like new.=20
