I pretty much agree with everything that has been said about waterfest this year. Here are some of my key points.

-This was the best Venue that waterfest has had in since i've been going. (this is my third year)

-Unfortunately we may not be going back to that venue again. I was at both of the Ramada's when the parking lot parties got shut down by the cops. I later heard of all the destruction. This really sucks because It gives everyone in the VW scene a bad name. I was staying in the Hyatt that was downtown, and since they had a parking deck you had to pay to go in, there wasn't much partying going on there. I also think it is unfair to stereotype all the destruction and stupid crap on one type of chassis (A2,A4,etc.) driver. Stupid people can drive any chassis, and the acts should be blamed on those who are responsible.

-Third, I agree with all the comments made about judging. While my car is definetly not a show winner, The judges didn't spend more than 60 seconds looking at it, they didn't even look at my interior, and didn't know anything about sciroccos. Blah

-Finally, If I wouldn't have had so much fun with the guys I rode up with, and those of you from the list that I know, I definetely wouldn't be going back next year. As of now, I'll have to give it some serious thought.
