ebay scam

FWIW, I got into a big debate on this very issue some months ago on the
Vortex.  I stood up for Steffen because *HE DID NOTHING WRONG*.  He
makes no claims about performance, period.  I think what's questionable
is "protecting" fellow VW enthusiasts by harming Steffen
(uhhh...another enthusiast and parts source, hmmm} by warding off his
prospective buyers.  I made the analogy of a swap meet: if I had that
cam on my table, making no claims and at a fair price, and you stood in
front of my table "informing" everyone who looked at it, I'd sooner or
later pop you in the mouth.  

And did anyone consider that Steffen may not have any idea about what
the US-model cam specs are vs the Euro cars?  He doesn't live here or
have our spec cars.  All he has is a cam to sell.

This is capitalism, boys and girls, do your own damned homework and
caveat emptor.  Even though you might like to think Steffen is a little
close to the line (as do I, frankly), read closely: He's 100% in the
right. [/soapbox].
