R12 ->R134a retrofitted, but I have a question

I would suggest checking all vaccuum connections and make sure that all the
flaps are closing that cut off any outside/engine air from entering the
system before you check for the vent temperature.  Also make sure that your
heater valve in the engine compartment is closing all the way or you will
get hot air around the evaporator and lower it's efficiency.
