Buying a Roc...

<P>hey everyone! i am seriously thinking about buying another 16v that a guy has for sale for $500. he says it needs a new battery and starter cable. he also mentioned that it had a cold start problem at times. the clock stopped at 121,000; he claims he has only put on 3-400 miles. any ideas on what the cold start could be? its not too local for me (about 3 hours away) but i am desperate for a mode of transportation (i have a froze engine right now in my current 16v) so i can't check it out in person. what other things should i check out when i am there or what spare parts should i bring with me? i am paranoid about getting suck somewhere so i will bring a transfer pump and other various parts like that. yeah, probably over kill, but classes start tomorrow and i have no car!! </P>
