Something interesting that Potterman and I have discovered. I dyno'd my
roc a few months back to discover that I made less power with a
completely "built to the limit of the rules" FSP motor than I did when it
was bone stock with 70+K and no quaife.

Yesterday Potterman dyno'd his Roc and found the same thing compared to
the last time he dyno'd the car. Its had alot of improvements and we both
say its got more power than it did before. The only thing different from
the before and after dyno'd was the addition of the Quaife. The other
mods would surely have added Some power, yet they showed a loss of.

Hmm, thinking about it, seems that your splitting the usable power to
both wheels which seems to cause a dyno run to show less overall power.

Interesting. Were tempted to put in stock trannies and do back to back
testing. I know ill be dynoing the 84 Roc with the 4K as soon as I get
the new diff kit cones. It would be interesting to see how my numbers
compare to Mikes.

Dont get me wrong, I love my Quaife and want one in all my VDub's.
