16v Wiring harness in a MK1
For those who are interested and there are a couple I know who are working
on a similar
16v conversion. The 2 main multi-pin connectors "C" and "D" on the fuse
panel both go through the firewall and the stock 16v grommets for them fit
just right in a 1 3/4 inch hole. I bought a bi-metal hole saw for this but
quickly found that they work great only if there is no hole there allready.
If you dont know what I mean try using a hole saw bit when the center 3/16
or so bit has nothing to bite on. Essentially enlarging a 1 1/4 to a 1 3/4
(in my case).
I will post a few pics of the little template I used for this later.
