ah boo.
I've put 20-40k on my 61 bus without a radio. Listen to the sounds of the
engine, meditate, i find it more relaxing to drive without a radio ;) But
to be fair my 81 bunny truck has a radio and it is nice to have one
again... however my 16v has no radio, and i dont plan on installing one.
Besides, with what you can find on the radio nowadays, its almost not
worth it... without a big cd changer setup, and having had 3 or so
alpine headunits lifted, 1 jvc headunit, quart speakers, amps glaore, i
gave up on putting my net worth in the trunk of the car.
If it doesnt have 2 knobs or look stock, its not going in my dash ;) i am
considering a RF changer though, so maybe i'll have to eat my words (not
that its the first time i've done that...)
take care,
Steve
