[tech] swaybar question

I have inherited a rear swaybar from a 16v rear axle.
I have checked the etka and the 8v is a 20mm swaybar and the 16v is a 24mm
swaybar
now what advert/beneficial effects would my car have if I decided to put the
16v rear swaybar on the 8v leaving the stock 8v swaybar in the front?
or is this not recommendable and I should find a font swaybar from a 16v
also?
