79 rear wiper wiring help needed

My rear wiper stopped working a few days ago. I was able to trace the
problem back to a single broken wire.  Its a black wire that comes out
of the end of the motor.  It is taped to the wiper motor itself, but the
end is broken off what looks to be from a solder point.  There are 2
other wires that go to the motor unit, a Green w/Black stripe & a Black
w/Gray stripe.  I cannot tell if this single black wire came from where
those 2 are soldered, or from a spot on top of the motor, hidden from
view.  Can any of you take a peek for me to see where this single black
wire goes?  Its not listed in the Bentley wiring diagram...  TIA
