Fuel Transfer pump

Wait? Of course not, you can buy new ones whenever you choose.

Oh, you meant to be replaced for free under recall...for that to happen YES
you will have to wait until there is evidence of failure. For the tank if
you smell gas and see a wet spot around the seam that's enough (or was in my
case). I've never heard about the transfer pump recall, when the dealer did
my tank they mentioned nothing about that part.
