Well I took everyones advice about adding another ground, well sort of. I
just put on a new ground and disconnected the old. I couldn't get to the
old one easily, so I just put the new one on the next bolt over. The next
time I have everything apart I'll take out the old one. So anyway, It
starts right up now, but once the engine warms up the idle starts
fluctuating from about 900- 1200 rpms, and sometimes when i come to a stop
sign and not giving it any gas it stalls. It never used to do this until I
added the new ground wire. So here is what i'm thinking, let me know if
this makes any sense, when I added the new ground It obviously was making a
better contact that the old one. So if my air/fuel mixture was set to the
old ground, not making a good contact, does it make sense that i should be
reset. Maybe I am completely wrong, i'm not sure. I've been a little
under the weather the past couple of days so I haven't tried anything yet.
I am more than open any and all suggestions.
Thanks in advance
Ryan
