[Scirocco-l] RE: Wheel / Tire opinions
all season tires... have you looked into the Khiumo Ecsta Series tires ?
(I have 205/50/15 on my Rocco) and there is a tad of rubbing on the rear and
front inner wheel wells. mostly at high speed and finding one of the famous
Texas dips in the road... heehaw
Jeffrey if you want I can show you the rubbing on my car...and finally VISIT
ya. call me 972-226-2665... but at 11AM this morning I am visiting someone
that has a nice 1978 Scirocco MKI Gti for sale...(unless you want to come
along..?)

This is what I'm thinking about buying in the near
future:
16x7.5 Borbet Type C, I've chose these over ATS Type
10's because they look a little sleeker, priced about
the same.
I want a decent high performance all season tire and
believe these fit the bill:
205/40HR16 Yokohama Avid H4
This is H-speed rated at $82 each
205/40R-16 Nitto NT 450 Extreme PerformanceUltra
This is V-speed rated at $80 each
Any experiance with these tires? Which would you
choose and why?
Also, does anybody have rubbing issues with a non
lowered Roc and 205/40/16's?
Later...
