Sub-$150 stereo recommendations?

ACK! NOOOOOooo....  I really like Kenwood's stuff as well (and hate Sony).
But I can't afford their good head unit's (even on ebay they are expensive
for new ones). I have some of their speakers and an amp though. Very nice.

But you know Sony owns Kenwood now.  Thank the electronic gods they opted
to leave them as their own entity and not screw up the Kenwood line.  I
say this as I type from a Sony Vaio.
