need info on muffler

Sorry, let me clarify. There was this used exhaust system lying around =
the shop I worked at, so when my header broke, I installed this =
(freebie) on my GTi. It was from an early rocco, so it had no provision =
for a cat. It started with the flex pipe, and the pieces were welded =
together. Flex pipe, straight pipe, then muffler.The muffler is an Ansa, =
that includes the "over the axle pipe". Just like the other ones that =
"vintage imports inc." -the seller of the muffler you mentioned- has for =
sale. The inlet size of this particular Ansa muffler that I have is of =
stock size-(about 1.5-1.75 inches?)-whatever the early roccos had. It =
looked smaller than the stock size of my GTi. I would imagine the =
muffler you linked to would be the same size. As mentioned already, it =
fits up to 75, which should be this small stock size. Probably too small =
for your system. Hope this clears things up. Jeff
