transmission adaptibility
Any A1, A2, or non-cable shift A3 tranny will work. You have to
consider mainshaft input size (large vs. small, fixed with matching
clutch disk - no biggie), driveaxle flange (90mm vs 100mm) and maybe
reverse light switch. All fairly easy to work with.
