transmission adaptibility

(bearings, as well as who knows what, went in it) anyways iam wondering if any other 5spd VW transmissions will bolt up or if i need to get another scirocco tranny from the 1.8l motor</DIV>
<DIV>commen sence tells me that any tranny from other 1.8's should bolt up, am i right?</DIV>
<DIV>iam asking this as it may be cheaper to find a used tranny rather then having to re-build mine if its really pooched inside! </DIV>
