Trans problems (long)
Great advise from Dave. Personally I don't even bother pulling the bushings
out. They are brass I believe and they wear very well. I DO always
install new ones for the same reason as Dave though. I typically just use a
deep socket to knock the old one further into the shaft and then install the
new bushing,... then the new seal. The shaft is hollow so I don't see a
problem with this.
