US spec BMW have downgraded engines. I drove a 90s 525 Eurospec and a =
525 US spec. both stick. the euro was definetely faster. wasn't the Euro =
M3 engine making 30 more HP than the US version?
I have driven an A3  95 GTi with the 1.6 16V that's rated at 110 HP. =
Feels faster than a 2.0 Golf !
less weight, different cams, different gearing  make the Euro cars =
faster.
